We set Echoel´s “Pink Soldiers” against the terror of the Islamic State and thereby support the aid organization “CADUS - Redefine Global Solidarity”.

They used to organize music festivals, now they are saving lives. CADUS’ doctors, paramedics and nurses provide assistance in Iraq's civil war, right at the place where fast care is vital, but hospitals are out of reach: just behind the war’s front line where the military fights the Islamic State. Now, CADUS’ help is needed mainly by local citizens, with the front line shifting to the urban area. 100% of all donations are being used to fund the maintenance and equipment of the mobile hospital, a place where seriously injured people receive simple but life-sustaining care, and for the flight costs of the international Crew.

It was Echoel who recommended the charitable project to us. The young producer and DJ from Hamburg already has attracted attention with great releases in “LikeBirdz” or “Magician on Duty”. His music expands from dark and melancholic Downtempo to punchy Tech- and Deep house. In recent years he has performed in Clubs like „Kater Blau“ and „Moloch“ and at several festivals like „Wilde Möhre“, „Garbicz“ and the „Off the Radar Festival“.

Wir sind stolz euch unsere erste EP präsentieren zu dürfen und welchem Zweck der Gewinn diesmal zugute kommt.

Echoels „Pink Soldiers“ EP wollen wir sinnbildlich dem schwarzen Terror des IS gegenüberstellen und damit das mutige und couragierte Projekt „CADUS - Redefine Global Solidarity“ unterstützen!

Früher organisierten sie Musik-Fesivals, heute wollen sie Menschenleben retten. Die Ärzte, Rettungssanitäter und Krankenpfleger von CADUS leisten im Bürgerkrieg des Irak dort Hilfe, wo Krankenhäuser zu weit weg, aber schnelle Versorgung lebensnotwendig ist – direkt hinter der Front des Krieges, wo IS und Militär aufeinandertreffen. Diese Front ist inzwischen im städtischen Gebiet angekommen, das heißt, die Hilfe durch CADUS wird vor allem von den Bürgern vor Ort benötigt. Die Spendengelder fließen direkt in den Unterhalt und die Ausrüstung ihres Traumastabilisierungspunkt (TSP), einem mobilen Krankenhaus, in dem Schwerverletzte notfallversorgt und stabilisiert werden können, sowie in die Flugkosten der internationalen Crew.

Die Projektempfehlung stammt auch direkt vom jungen Hamburger Produzent und DJ Echoel, der bereits mit großartigen Releases auf „LikeBirdz“ oder „Magician On Duty“ auf sich aufmerksam machen konnte. Seine Soundrange reicht von düster, melancholischem Downtempo bis hin zu druckvollem Deep- und Tech House. Er spielte in den vergangenen Jahren bereits in Clubs und auf Festivals wie dem Kater Blau, Moloch, Wilde Möhre, Garbicz oder dem „Off the Radar Festival“.
